Christlikess Means Living In Victory Over Death.

"Whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it."
(Acts 2:24 NKJV)

Of all men that ever walked the face of the planet, have you ever heard anyone who died and lived again never to die again? I have. Only Jesus. He conquered the grave and rose victoriously from the grave.

When He died, many of His critics thought it was over until the third day when the glory of God raised Him back to life. He is still alive too thousand years on. Jesus demonstrated absolute power and dominion over death. This is the message that the whole world must hear.

In Christ, death is no longer that invincible monster taking lives at will. Those who are Christ's share in His victory over death. Believers in Christ are not subject to death. Will you tell your followers to raise the dead if they were subject to death? I wouldn't dare. They would embarrass my name.

Since Jesus commanded us to raise the dead in His name, it must therefore follow that He has given us the power to reign over death. "For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:17 NKJV). We are called to reign in life over death.

Christlikeness means being exactly like Jesus in form, nature, quality, and position. It was impossible for death to hold Jesus down so it is with you. Death in all its forms and manifestations can not hold you down. You have life eternal.

I'm just like Jesus in form, nature, quality and position. The same life flowing through Jesus flows through me.
