Christlikess Means Living In Victory Over Sin.

"Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:" 1 Peter 2:22KJV

Talking about Jesus, the apostles were certain that He is the only person to ever live who committed no sin, in whom was no sin and knew no sin.

Peter says Jesus did no sin (1 Peter 1:22). Apostle John said, "And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin." (I John 3:5 NKJV).

Apostle Paul, who was a man of the intellect said, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV).

So we are called by God to be conformed to the image of His Son that He might be the first born among many brothers. We were predestined and called to Christlikeness.

God's dream for us is to be like Jesus in reality and that reality includes living sin-free. For those in Christ, sin has no dominion.  "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." (Romans 6:14 NKJV).

Because they are born of God, sons of God do not, and cannot sin. "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." (I John 3:9 NKJV).

The rebirth is a miracle, because if any man be in Christ he is a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. That newness of life includes living on earth without sinning at all even though surrounded by sin.

I am a new creation in Christ not subject to sin, depravity and moral decadence bedeviling the world. I am not only forgiven, I am sin free. Hallelujah.
