There is a principle in computing called Garbage In, Garbage Out. What you feed into a computer program is what comes out on demand.

This is also true in life. Your mind acts like a supercomputer — ready to be programmed. What you feed into your mind is what will mirror your life.

That is why the Lord Jesus said, take heed what you hear.

Our mind has gates through which information enters. Through the eye gate, what we see and read configures how we think and shapes the outcomes of our lives.

The ear gate conveys what we listen to — the voices we hear, the music we play, the gossip we allow, the negativity we give audience to.

All these things have the power to change our lives significantly, and sometimes permanently.

Protect your mind from negative chatter, lustful scenes, and other corrupting sources of information.

Feed your mind on the Word until the Word controls your thoughts and your lifestyle.
