It Is The GOSPEL Of Life And Immortality

"But has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,"
II Timothy 1:10 NKJV
Everyone in almost all religions in the world is seeking life that never ends. Nobody wants to die in normal situations. Human beings instinctively fight to stay alive whether through medicine or war. But nobody offers real hope for immortality than Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Bible says that Jesus is the only one that abolished death. He made death null and void. He put an end to the reign of death over God's creation. And this is what the gospel of Jesus is all about- life that never ends. Do you want to live forever? The gospel of Jesus sheds light on how to attain it.
In John 11:26, the Lord Jesus said to Martha, "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:26 NKJV). This is the gospel. No preacher is sent to tell people that they shall die because everyone knows that and it's no good news. We are sent to tell the world that, "God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that anyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life." (John 3:16 RAD)
Jesus never officiated at a funeral. Every funeral He attended turned to celebration and wonder as He raised the dead. We have been commissioned to continue His ministry in the earth. I have heard people who quote Paul out of context and and say every death is gain. Well, if every death is gain then why would Jesus stop Lazarus, the widow of Nain's son and many others from profit? Why did Peter raise Dorcas stopping her from gain?
Jesus would not command His disciples to go and raise the dead if "to die is gain". Not every death is gain. Death for Paul was gain because he was incarcerated and anticipated a death sentence for the testimony of Jesus. He was not dying of cancer, HIV, or any other disease or accident. Giving your life for the testimony of Jesus is great again and that's what Paul eventually did so that he can obtain a better resurrection.
The truth is: God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. That is the message of the gospel and everyone must hear it. There is hope for life and immortality in the gospel. God has no pleasure in the death of Him who dies. "For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God . “Therefore turn and live!” (Ezekiel 18:32 NKJV).
SPEAK OUT.
The gospel of Jesus Christ has delivered to me life and immortality. God has no pleasure in my death.
