It Is The Gospel Of The Kingdom Of God.

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
Matthew 24:14 NKJV

When we preach the gospel do we know what it's all about? Are we aware of the end result our preaching much achieve? It's easy to be excited with the flow of ministry and pulpit acrobatics and forget the mission. What is God's plan for mankind?

Through prophecy God made a Sovereign decree to the Son: "The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!" (Psalms 110:2 NKJV). The Son is commanded to rule in the midst of His enemies.

So when Jesus came preaching in Galilee, He was heralding the gospel of the kingdom of God (Mathew 4:23). The kingdom of God is the rulership, dominion, power and influence of God on earth. So Jesus invites everyone to be part of the kingdom of God and experience life under God.

Everyone operates under a certain power, and influence. Jesus told the Jews that they were under the dominion of sin as slaves and the Son was here to set them free and they would be free indeed (John 8:31-36). The whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one, satan (1 John 5:19).

When we join the kingdom of God through the rebirth, we start experiencing the power of the kingdom. The kingdom of God is characterized by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Righteousness will be the mark of our lives, the peace of God will rule in our hearts and minds, and the joy of the Holy Ghost will be an unceasing fountain in our lives.

The power of God will be evident in our lives as sicknesses, diseases, and sin bow to us. We cannot be under the power and dominion of God and be under the power and dominion of sin and death at the same time. That righteousness which characterizes the kingdom is the antidote to sin and death.

When God said rule in the midst of Your enemies, death was on the list of God's enemies. Death is an enemy of God and is the last enemy that shall be destroyed according to the Bible (1 Corinthians 15:25-26). But at this moment in history, death has been defeated and is under Jesus' feet. Do not let death frighten you. You have power over it now that you are in the kingdom of God.

I am under the power and dominion of God and cannot be at the same time under the power and dominion of sin and death.
