Light Precedes Progress.

“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” Genesis 1:3.

Before God made anything in the universe, light had to come first. “Light be” was the first decree.

This is true in the making of men. Man can only see progress, fruitfulness, growth and greatness when the supernatural Light of Christ shines on him. 

Nations and communities will only develop and get better through that Light. Those who criticise the preaching of the gospel in Africa and make it look like religion is the problem do not realise that they are fighting the solution.

The Word of the gospel of Christ is the solution to the darkness, underdevelopment, and hopelessness in Africa and the rest of the world.

The bedrock of western civilisation was the Bible. The church was the cornerstone in the founding of most western nations in modern history. And Africa needs the radical preaching of the gospel so that she can be radically transformed and stand tall among the nations.

Jesus is the Light of the world. Anyone who gets in contact with this Light will never remain the same again. Apostle John said:

"In Him was life and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it…That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.” John 1:4,5, 9 (NKJV).

The devil’s mission is to blindfold people so that they may not see the Light of the glorious gospel of Christ:

 “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”  2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NKJV)

This is the only Light in the universe that has capacity to entirely change and alter the course of a man's life. 

Do you see why we must be consistently and radically committed to the preaching of the gospel of Christ?

Whole nations, cities, and communities and individuals will be radically transformed by the gospel, for the Light of Christ precedes transformation and progress.

Dear Heavenly Father, may the light of the glorious gospel of Christ shine brightly into the nations as we preach the gospel everywhere in Jesus Name. Amen.
