PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE OF SAINTS.

"Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light." Colossians 1:12 NKJV
When the Bible talks about saints, it speaks not of those canonized by the Roman church. Saints simply means holy ones. And in the new testament it mostly refers to those who have believed in the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. So the saints are the sons and daughters of God. They have been made holy by the blood of Jesus, washed clean by the Word of truth and sanctified by the Spirit of our God. And these have an incorruptible inheritance waiting for them in Christ Jesus whereof we have been made partakers.
The first thing a son inherits from his father is quality or in biological terms, DNA. This defines who you are as a being. God has qualified us to be partakers of who He is. Our God is incorruptible so are we. Our Father is immortal so are we. Our Father is light, love and life so are we. If you want to know who you really are in Christ you must know who your real Father in heaven is. No wonder Jesus said, "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3)
Secondly, the saints inherit the name of the Father. That's big! Jesus as a fulfillment of His assignment said about the Father, "I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world..." (John 17:6). He was sent to reveal the name of God and He did. What is the Father's Name? "For it pleased the Father that in Him[Jesus Christ] all the fullness should dwell." (Colossians 1:11). Therefore the Father answers to the name Jesus, "For in Him[Jesus] dwells ALL the fullness of the Godhead bodily," (Colossians 2:9). Jesus is the name of the Godhead and that is the name by which we are called.
Therefore we function in the Name of Jesus, a name that is above every name. At the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, on earth and under the earth. Nothing in the universe will be denied you when the name Jesus is presented. Whatever you shall ask in the name of Jesus will be granted you anywhere in the universe. Use that name on cancer it will bow. HIV/AIDS will hearken to the name above every name. Barrenness will turn to fruitfulness in that name. Demons tremble at the mention of that name Jesus. It is one of the greatest blessings God has bestowed upon us in Christ because we have life through this name (John 20:31).
Thirdly, we have been qualified to inherit the substance of the saints. Paul said all things are yours whether world or life, or things present or things to come- all are yours, simply because you belong to Christ who belongs to God. (1 Corinthians 3:21-23). Nothing in this world or the world to come is too good for you. Poverty or penury was never God's design from the beginning. He is the One who causes the beggar and the poor man to inherit substance. God willed this whole world to Abraham and his descendants. And if we are Christ's, then are we Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise. Thanks be unto God for qualifying us to be sharers of His quality, His Name and His substance in the kingdom of light.
SPEAK OUT.
I am qualified to inherit the quality, the name and the substance of God given to the saints in light.
