Put On Christ.

"But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts."
Romans 13:14 NKJV

"Put on" is from the Greek word "enduo" which depicts a "sinking into a garment". It means to literally or figuratively "clothe or array".

Apostle Paul by the Spirit says to the church at Rome, "be clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ". Why would he tell believers to "put on Christ" when they have already put on Christ when they were baptized into Christ according to Galatians 3:27, "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ."?

The answer is simple, Galatians 3:27 is positional, but Romans 13:14 is practical. Paul is calling on believers to "put on" or carry a consciousness that they are born again and are a new creation.

Some believers' lives are exactly the same as the world. They think, talk and act like the rest of the world who don't know God. When the world is afraid, they too are afraid. During times stress, because you have put on Christ, you must be at rest.

You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. To put on Christ means to put on life because Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). You must consciously sink into the garment called Christ.

When you are clothed with Christ, your whole spirit, soul and body is immersed into life. As a result, your spirit is recreated; your soul is revived and renewed; and your body is vitalized in Christ. Walk in that consciousness everyday. You have passed from death into life who is Christ Jesus the Lord.

SPEAK LIFE.
I have put on Christ therefore I have put on life for Christ is the life. I walk with the consciousness that I belong to Jesus and have passed from death into life.
