Refuse To Be Anybody’s Fool

“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity; There is none who does good.” Psalms 53:1 (NKJV).

There are different kinds and levels of insanity, but the highest level of all is to allow yourself to be convinced that there is no God. Nobody is born believing that there is NO God.  Absolutely no one. We are all born with a natural inclination to desire and depend on a higher power, our Creator God, until someone stealthily convinces us otherwise. 

Nobody is born with an instinct to be wayward and godless. Even Judas started as an apostle but a whisper in their ear, a picture flashed before your eyes, or an article written with intention to mislead can all be bait for the simple minded to get it twisted.

Refuse to be anybody’s fool. God exists! Make no mistakes about it.  If you need proof, you have it. YOU are the proof. Yes, you are God’s handiwork, His beautiful masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made. An intelligent and complex creature like yourself cannot come from nothing. You are the proof that there is a God who made all things.

There are many things that declare God’s Majesty but the most obvious is nature. Things that are made.  “Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.” Romans 1:18-23

If it is "clearly seen" through nature that there is an invisible God, why do people still argue. The answer is simple: choice. They choose to ignore the loud proclamation of nature. They don't have any excuse. Evidence is all around us. By denying the evidence thinking they are wise, they become fools and are thrust into utter spiritual  darkness and confusion.

Once your conscience is awakened to the reality of God, do the needful- give Him glory that is due His Name. Worship Him the way He deserves. Give Him your all. Do not provoke Him to jealousy by offering oblations to other things that are not God.

Anything or anyone who claim or desire to be worshiped by you must prove themselves first. They must first create another like you, create the earth upon a spinning foundation of nothing, make the wonders of heaven, switch off the sun, and finally without fail, they must come from heaven and die for everyone. And please be certain that they rise from the dead before they demand your worship. 

No one could do all this except our God and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ who accomplished all this and more; and that is why He alone is worthy of our love, worship, and devotion forever. Hallelujah!

Prayer.

Father God, I believe in you and in your Son Jesus Christ. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the only Lord of my life. Today, I open my heart fully to His Word and influence in my life. I am yours Jesus for you are worthy of it all. In the Name of Jesus we have prayed. Amen.
