Righteousness Delivers From Death.

"Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death."
Proverbs 10:2 NKJV.
The Bible says that, "Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death." (Proverbs 11:4 ESV). Nomatter how much money and influence one has death has no respect for wealth. The billionaires of the world have died in the hands of the world class medical care.
It is because death is spiritual. It came as a result of sin. When sin came, death reigned. And today, all creation is groaning in pain waiting to be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.
Sin is the cause of aging, sickness, and mortality. Nobody has been able to stop it except Jesus. He came in the power of the Holy Spirit healing all that were oppressed of the devil, raising the dead, and cleansing lepers. He had power to alter mortality.
He died and rose in victory the third day. He is the only one that defied the law of death that says "every soul that sins shall die". The pains of death could not hold Him in the grave because in Him was no sin, He did no sin, and He knew no sin. It was because of righteousness that Jesus was delivered from death. He was justified in the Spirit and death could not hold Him.
That same righteousness was imputed to us by faith apart from works. We have now been declared righteous by faith in Christ and we have peace with God. Therefore the law of death has no authority to exact its judgement on those who believe in Jesus.
Righteousness by faith delivers from death. No wonder Jesus said, "You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live. And everyone who lives believing in me does not ultimately die at all. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26 MSG).
SPEAK OUT
God has imputed His righteousness on me and that righteousness I have by faith in Jesus delivers me from death.
