“....Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
Revelation 5:12 NKJV.

Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Colossians, said that in Christ, "... are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Colossians 2:3 NKJV). All riches of wisdom and knowledge the world is looking for are hidden in Christ.

But not only Christ is the residence of all wisdom, He is the very wisdom of God, "But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—" (I Corinthians 1:30 NKJV).

He received a portfolio from the Father to be head in all matters concerning wisdom. That is why the greatest fools are those who deny the Lord Jesus and the existence of God. When you reject the gospel you have rejected the wisdom God.

The wisdom of God is not like the wisdom of the world. James clarified the difference; "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy." (James 3:17 NKJV)

The wisdom of this world is sensual, earthly and demonic. "But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there." (James 3:14‭-‬16 NKJV).

True wisdom is what we have in Christ. Jesus has been made king in the realm of wisdom. And we are partakers of this wisdom by virtue of the indwelling Christ. This wisdom will defend you against the onslaught of the devil's machinations in your life. It is the wisdom of the church that will deliver our cities and our nations from poverty and degradation, depravity, and the rule of wicked men (Ecc 9:15).

The wisdom of God is not only a defence, it gives life to the one who have it. "For wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it." (Ecclesiastes 7:12 NKJV). Receive Jesus today and receive the wisdom of God. If Christ is in you, the wisdom of God is available to you right now. Awaken to it and walk in it.
