Seven Crowns Of The Lamb Part 4: STRENGTH.

| Spiry Tee

“....Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
Revelation 5:12 NKJV.

When they accused him of being a demoniac who cast out devils with Beelzebub the prince of demons, the Lord Jesus in His response said, "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils." (Luke 11:21‭-‬22 NKJV).

Jesus demonstrated strength over devils. This strength is divine energy that is insurmountable. That energy demonstrated through the incarnated Savior was supplied by the the Spirit whom Jesus referred to as the "finger of God" in figure of speech. We know that God's strength is stronger than men.

Just before His death, we see an angel strengthening Jesus as He was getting ready to face crucifixion (Luke 22:43). He was obedient to the will of the Father and died for us. Upon resurrection, the Father gave Him a name that is above every name. He awarded Him with many crowns which include being head of all spiritual realms and dimensions.

The resurrected Christ does not need an angel to strengthen Him anymore, for He is now the Strength of the universe. Through Him we all have our strength. Apostle Paul testified to the strength of Christ working in Him, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 NKJV).

It is by His strength that we prevail for no man shall win with human strength. In her prayer, Hannah was right, "For by strength shall no man prevail." (1 Samuel 2:9b KJV). The Contemporary English Version says, "We cannot win a victory by our own strength."
We need Christ who has all the strength to strengthen us. Are you without strength? Jesus is your strength.

Are you weak in face of sin and temptation? Let Jesus be your strength.  You cannot win the battle over lust and sinful desires by your own human strength. You need a Savior. And Jesus is. Death is a strong foe. The grave is unyielding but Jesus demonstrated strength over death and the grave and He came out strong three days after He was buried. This is our God. Hallelujah!
