Spiritual Failures Are Love Failures.

"Let all that you do be done with love." 1 Corinthians 16:14

Most spiritual failures can be traced to love failure. Without love, zeal wanes, fervency dissipates, prayer life dies, and giving ceases.

If you want to accurately diagnose the reason for ineffective Christian life in many churches, you must investigate the love life of the church.

Love is that which fuels everything. Love is the doer of the deeds. Evangelism is waste of money and resources when  love is absent. Spending money to just tell someone about the love of God takes love.

There is no carnal profit to gain when you give in the house of God. The profit is eternal. Therefore when we are generous, it is because of the love we have for the Lord Jesus and people.

Zeal or passion to serve  in the house of God is only fuelled by love for God and His people. When love waxes cold, indifference sets in, selfishness grows, inward focus dominates our consciousness. But this is not the will of God.

The Lord wants you to abound more and more in love. You must overflow in love towards the Lord Jesus and others. And as long as love is present, no matter the challenges, you will never flop spiritually for true love never fails.

PRAYER.

Father, help me to walk consistently in love. Let your love burn so strong in me and let it be the reason why I do what I do for You and others, in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.
