The Agent Of Change.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NKJV

Do you desire to see change? Well look no further for the Agent of change is here. Jesus called Him the Holy Spirit.  When He comes upon you, power comes. This power is supernatural, dynamic, miraculous ability that effect changes. You want to see a changed man? Meet a man who is filled with the Holy Spirit.

King Saul met the prophets on the way from Samuel, the Spirit came upon him and he prophesied and his heart was changed into another man(1Sam 10:6). He was now ready to be king. Everytime the Spirit came upon Samson, he could do the impossible, and slaying a thousand soldiers with a jawbone of an ass was like a hobby to him. Religion and laws do not change people's hearts, the Holy Spirit does.

You might remember that Peter and the rest of the disciples were hiding in the upper room for fear of the Jews after our Lord's death on the cross. But when the Spirit came upon them on the day of Pentecost, they filled Jerusalem with their doctrine. They spoke openly without fear after their encounter with the Spirit of power, love and sound mind.

Their demeanor was altered when the Spirit filled them. Suddenly, their tongues were anointed to speak new languages of men and of angel. They prophesied as the Spirit gave them utterance. Their bodies were quickened in such an awe inspiring way that handkerchiefs and aprons were taken from their bodies to heal the sick and cast out devils. The shadow of Peter healed the sick as he passed by.

 A new humanity was birthed as soon the Spirit touched earth. We are now new supermen not subject to infirmity, decease and all the elements of this world.
