The Amen.

“And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:"
Revelation 3:14 NKJV
The Lord Jesus used the title "Amen" for Himself because through Him the purposes of God are established. Through Christ, God has proven Himself faithful to the promises He made because all the promises of God now find their "yes and amen" in Christ Jesus.
The ministry of Jesus was to confirm the promises God made: His life, His death, His resurrection and His ascension. Paul said it in no uncertain terms, "Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to CONFIRM the promises made unto the fathers:" (Romans 15:8).
These promises include, healing and health, provision and prosperity, life and immortality. Now by His stripes we are healed and healthy. No sickness or disease has power to break our bodies. By His death, the curse of poverty and sweat is broken and we do not lack.
God promised life to a dead human race and has fulfilled His promise in Christ in sending Jesus to abolish death and bring life and immortality to light through the gospel (2Tim 1:1,10). Praise God.

God has fulfilled His promise of life in Christ in sending Jesus to abolish death and bring life and immortality to light through the gospel for me.
