The Believer's Relationship With Satan.

"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8 NLT.
The devil is the arch enemy of your soul. He is not a friend, a comrade or confidant but an adversary. Whatever he does for anyone, seemingly good and glittering, there is poison underneath. Offer the devil one inch of your territory he will take ten miles. When he opens his mouth to speak, deception is weaved on his tongue. He is a schemer and darkness is his abode. He is the embodiment of evil who hides in ignorance and lies. He hates truth and light. He hates anything God, Jesus and Christian. In him is no light, no love and no truth. He dislikes and despises you passionately.
When he shows up on your door in any form, the Lord already told us how to deal with him; "Resist him steadfast in the faith," (1Peter5:9). Don't negotiate with him, don't listen to him, don't entertain him, don't reason with him; resist him, and the result is always sure, "he will flee from you". One of the the signs that will follow Christ believers is that they will be able to cast out devils. Many ailments are caused by demonic affliction. Demons move nations to war and conflicts. They inspire many leaders of nations and territories to do despicable things causing death, poverty and misery in the world. But we can drive them out of our regions, towns, cities and nations. We can command them to leave physical bodies of people afflicted by these monstrous beasts in the name of Jesus by whom we have authority over them.
Satan and his family of demons boast of strength when they speak but they are so weak and vulnerable. Jesus made them so. "In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross." Colossians 2:15 NLT. By His death on the cross, Jesus destroyed satan who had the power of death. "...For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying." Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT. The devil no longer has the right to kill you and any of yours that belong to Jesus. His power over you is broken. Never again be afraid of death, it's now under your feet. Jesus now holds the keys of hell and of death. You're born again of the indestructible sperm, and the seal of God is upon you. You are part of the "goods on transit" labelled 'BELONGS TO JESUS, DEATH DON'T TOUCH'.
Finally, the devil has no new strategies. His tricks are old and rusted. He has been stripped of his creativity. He keeps using the same devices but if we stay in the Word of Christ we would not be ignorant of his devices. Expose his lies by the truth of God's word. Nomatter the noise he makes and the image of himself he desires to portray, satan is a defeated foe. Keep him where he belongs, under your feet in Jesus' Name.
SPEAK OUT.
I have authority over the devil in the name of Jesus. The devil doesn't have authority to decide whether I die or live anymore. He is under my feet.
