The Everlasting God.

"Are You not from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord , You have appointed them for judgment; O Rock, You have marked them for correction."
Habakkuk 1:12 NKJV

Isaiah in prophecy spoke about the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ in this way: "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord , The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those  who  have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:28‭-‬31 NKJV)

This God described by Isaiah as "everlasting" is our Father. We hail from Him, making us truest partakers of His divine nature. We are therefore everlasting sons of the everlasting God. The Hebrew phrase for everlasting God would be olam olam elohim. "Olam Olam" means the vanishing point, a point where if something reaches, it ceases to exist in this earthly realm.

Others call it eternity. Eternity is not a place, it is God. He is eternity. So when someone comes to the Father through Jesus Christ, they have entered a vanishing point as it were. They cease to be recognized according to the flesh. They are so transformed that their old self is unrecognizable. Jesus entered that vanishing point and was glorified. Now we no longer know Christ after the flesh (2 Corinthians 5:16).

The same principle works for us for if any man is in Christ He is a new creation old things are passed away (at the vanishing point called Christ) and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are like your Father in heaven. He lives forever so do you. He is above this earthly realm so are you. He is above sickness, poverty and death and so are you. As He is so are you in this world. Walk like a child of your Father, perturbed about nothing in this world.

You're indefatigable, even when youths are fainting and young men are utterly falling. Your strength and your youthfulness is renewed as you wait for the coming of the Lord unto which you have been called (1 Thessalonians 1:10). Habakkuk by faith spoke for us that since God is from everlasting, we shall not die. We are like Him in Christ Jesus right this very moment. Hallelujah!!

SPEAK OUT.
I am an everlasting child of an everlasting God.
