The Revelation Of Jesus Christ: King Of Kings.

The Bible says that death reigned like a king because of Adam's offense. "Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has treated us with undeserved grace, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings."
(Romans 5:17 CEV).

Every great man that ever lived had limits, and one limitation that all of them did not escape was death.  Like a tyrant, death ruled with rage over all creation. No one was spared no matter how mighty they were in battle or philosophy.  Death eventually caught up with them. Nero died. Caesar perished. Alexander the great was taken by death too.

But one Man whose birth was a mystery, His life a stream of wonders, and His death divine, came and defeated the tyrant called death. King death thought he had won when Jesus died in our place until the third day. Early before dawn Jesus came walking out of the grave.

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you Jesus the King over death. If death was a king, Jesus won the battle and is now King of kings. Death is no longer that tyrant with unchecked power. Someone greater has assumed the throne. Now King Jesus holds the keys of death and hell.

If Jesus is your King and Lord, you have no business being afraid of king death. His power was stripped from him. Jesus told Martha that anyone who is alive and continues to believe in Him shall never die. (John 11:26).

Like the Psalmist declare that you shall live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. Like Hezekiah say that the the dead cannot praise the Lord neither do those who go into silence celebrate His truth. Apparently, you are useless to God and the kingdom once we die as far as God's mission on earth is concerned.

Losing soldiers to the grave during combat is the worst nightmare of every army general. Jesus the Captain of our salvation is on the mission to take the world for the Father and we cannot afford to die in battle. It's time to live. Jesus is King over death.
