The Revelation Of Jesus: The Seven-Eyed Lamb.

| Spiry Tee

"And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth."
Revelation 5:6 NKJV.

The prophets, Isaiah and Zechariah, prophesied of the coming of a Branch from the root of Jesse. They foretold of the coming of the Lord Jesus and one thing common in both prophesies is the "seven eyes". Zechariah says, "...For behold, I am bringing forth My Servant the BRANCH. For behold, the stone That I have laid before Joshua: Upon the stone are  seven eyes..." (Zechariah 3:8‭-‬9 NKJV).

These are the same eyes John saw in the book of revelation on the Lamb slain. What are these seven eyes seen on the Stone by Zechariah and on the Lamb by John. It is the seven Spirits of God. What are these seven Spirits of God?

Prophet Isaiah lists them by name in His Messianic prophecy. "The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord ." (Isaiah 11:2 NKJV). These are the seven Spirits of God.

The seven Spirits of God is what makes God, God. It represents the fullness or totality of God. Jesus after the resurrection, because He obeyed even unto death, was crowned with the maximum load of God. There's nothing of God that is missing in Christ.

Paul said, "For it pleased the  Father  that  in Him all the fullness should dwell," (Colossians 1:19 NKJV). In Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus is God. When we see Him as such His words will take on new meaning.

Jesus is more than a religious figurehead. He is God. Hebrews 1 verse 8 lays it bare; "But to the Son He  says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom."

The most beautiful thing about the revelation of Jesus Christ is that when we know Jesus we find ourselves in Him. If the fullness of God dwells bodily in Christ, and we are complete in Him, it means we also have access to the fullness of God.

God wants us to be just like Jesus so that Christ might be the firstborn among many brothers. We have capacity to carry the maximum load of God. And if we are gods, we cannot be affected by what affects humans. We are in our own class. Even death should not dare.

We live about storms,  suffering and pain of this world. We belong to the heavenly pantheon, a company of the divine. Refuse to be ordinary because you are not. This fullness of God is activated when we come to know the length, the breadth, the depth and the height of the love of Christ.

SPEAK OUT.
Jesus carries the maximum load of God and so do I. I cannot be affected by what affects humans.
