"And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." (Isaiah 11:2 ESV).
Our God is the only all-wise God (1Timothy 6:17). Wisdom is the principal attribute that makes God who is. You can see how well designed and "thought through" the universe looks and functions. It was through wisdom that God knew the correct distance between the sun and the earth to avoid either overheating or freezing.
The conditions we find on earth for the sustainance of life were not haphazard but intentional by a Being who must be, not just powerful, but super wise.
And now, that same Spirit of wisdom bodily dwells in Christ. Christ has been made wisdom for us from God. When God chose all of divine wisdom to dwell in Christ, it was for our benefit. Remember, Christ was made head over all things for the benefit of the church (Ephesians 1:17). Today we have access into all of God wisdom by virtue of our relationship with Jesus.
We have been given access to wisdom not available presently in the earth. Divine wisdom. That wisdom of God engenders mighty works. About Jesus they said, “...Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!" (Mark 6:2 NKJV). When you have divine wisdom you will do mighty and naturally impossible things.
Whosoever finds this wisdom of God which is available in Christ, finds life. Hear wisdom herself speaking: "For whoever finds me finds life, and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” (Proverbs 8:35-36 NKJV).
The Lamb has the eye or Spirit of wisdom, and He wants us to be filled with the same Spirit so that we can function like Him. The Spirit through Paul expressed the Lamb's desire; "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him," (Ephesians 1:17 NKJV).
When the Spirit of wisdom operates, your spiritual eyes will be opened to see the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints and the exceeding greatness of God's power at our disposal.
By wisdom we will come to comprehend that resurrection power is working in our spirit, soul, and body. We will know that we have available to us the power that prevents death. We will refuse to suffer any pain, sickness or lack. It is by the spirit of wisdom that we possess our possessions in Christ.
I have the Spirit of wisdom and I will do mighty works. By wisdom I will find the paths of life and possess my possessions.
