The Seven Eyes Of The Lamb Part 3: The Eye Of Counsel.

| Spiry Tee

"And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." (Isaiah 11:2 ESV).

Counsel means advice or plan used to solve difficult problems and challenges. It also refers to strategy against an adversary. As people, we need counsel time and again when we face situations that overwhelm our intellect or strength.

What about our Father in heaven? Who advices Him? From whom does He receive counsel? The answer is none. When the Father wants to do anything, He does a conference all by Himself, consult Himself and executes His plan all by Himself for He is God all by Himself.

Apostle Paul is bold, "In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will," (Ephesians 1:11 NKJV). He does everything according to the counsel of His own will. All the strategies you will ever need are in Him. He knows all the secret ways of the earth. Nothing is hidden in His sight for all things are open to Him who judges all.

And as the Father is so is the Son Jesus. When His birth was announced in prophecy, it was foretold that He would be a wonderful Counselor. "For to us a Child shall be born, to us a Son shall be given; And the government shall be upon His shoulder, And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6 AMP). Wonderful Counselor means amazing, extraordinary, miraculous strategist or the one who resolves problems in an awe-inspiring way. That's our Lord Jesus Christ. Never for a moment think that He can fail you and be out of ideas to bring His Word to pass in your life.

When the Egyptians thought they had the Jews hemmed in between the Red Sea and their brutal army, God through Moses opened the Red sea and the children of Israel walked on dry ground over which when the Egyptians assayed were drowned. God's strategy was out of this world.

Our Lord Jesus Christ will never allow you to go hungry, for He owns a cattle upon a thousand hills. He knows how to bring some to you.  Jesus will make a way where there seems to be no way.  He is a master strategist.  It pays highly to listen to the all-wise God.

When Jesus left earth, He did not leave us without a Counselor.  He sent the Holy Spirit to be our counselor. If you ask and listen to Him, He will counsel you, about who or when to marry, which course to study, what business to do and which place to live. He knows all things and is interested in your success, prosperity and fulfillment. "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever—" (John 14:16 AMP)

There is power in good counsel for it can preserve and save lives, and win battles. "Strategic planning is the key to warfare; to win, you need a lot of good counsel." (Proverbs 24:6 MSG). Receive a lot of it from the Lord who is "...wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom." (Is 28:29 ESV), and see your life preserved, prosper, and peacefully joyous.

SPEAK LIFE.
The Spirit of counsel is in my life in the person of the Holy Spirit.  I do not lack counsel. I cannot be confused with Him as my Counselor.  My life is winning and preserved from death through wise Counsel from the Spirit.
