The Seven Eyes Of The Lamb Part 6: The Eye Of Reverence.
| Spiry Tee
"And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord." (Isaiah 11:2 ESV).
The Bible says the reverential fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom and knowledge. Reverential fear of God is or produces true worship. Moreover, the revelation of the Father is for those who worship Him by faith. When you acknowledge His supremacy, His hand in creation and His will in redemption, you will but worship Him by faith. And as you do, He will begin to manifest Himself to you.
The Lord Jesus was full of the Spirit of the fear of the Lord which delivered Him from death and got Him the resurrection. Resurrection is for those who worshipfully fear the Lord. "Who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear," (Hebrews 5:7 NKJV). He was heard because He feared.
The seven Spirits of God represent the completeness of the divine nature. God reveals the seven Spirits (seven eyes of the Lamb) resting on the crucified Christ as a message to the churches of Christ that we have been called to divine perfection because as He is so are we in this world.
We have been crucified with Christ, and if the seven eyes are for the "slain Lamb" then we are partakers because by grace we were slain with Him by faith (Galatians 2:20). The fullness of God is for those who have died to this world and are alive to God; those who have crucified the flesh and its desires.
The fullness of God is for those who have come to comprehend the length, the depth, width and height of the love of Christ. Do you know that Christ loves you so much? The measure to which you understand His love for you is the measure to which you are filled with the fullness of God.
SPEAK LIFE.
I walk in the fear of the Lord. I am heard when I pray because I am a true worshiper of God. The Lord has delivered me from death by the Spirit of reverential fear of the Lord.
