The Seven Horns Of The Lamb: Introduction

|  Spiry Tee

"And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth."
Revelation 5:6 NASB+

The book of Revelation is filled with prophetic symbolism that if you do not study it through the eyes of redemption in Christ, you will miss the whole point. It is the "revelation" of Jesus Christ that opens the prophetic mysteries hidden therein.

Apostle John saw the Lamb (which is our Savior Jesus Christ) having seven horns. A horn in prophetic writings is a sign of power. John not only saw a horn, he saw seven of them. That is significant because seven is a number of fullness and perfection.

The Lamb with seven horns means all authority and power in heaven and in earth has been granted to the resurrected Christ. Jesus has absolute power anywhere in the universe.  Isn't this what He said when He came back to life three days after His crucifixion? "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matthew 28:18 KJV).

Nobody in the known world has ever made such a claim except our Savior Jesus Christ. He is Lord over all. Because He obeyed the Father even unto death, a humiliating death of the cross, Jesus was given a name that is above every name.

"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9‭-‬11 NKJV).

There is no other name that can contest such honor as in the name of Jesus Christ.  It is only through His name we are saved, sanctified, healed and delivered. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 NKJV).

It is no fairy tale of a seven-horned lamb. It is a true revelation of the mighty power and glory of Jesus Christ to whom we belong. He has authority and power over death, satan and sin. He demonstrated authority over nature, over the flesh and over the world as we know it. Even angels were made subject unto Him. There is nothing that was left not put under Him.

SPEAK LIFE.
I have nothing to fear in this world for my Lord is indeed Lord over everything. His power is working for me and I am preserved from all that could harm me and cause death in my life.
