The Seven Horns Of The Lamb Part 4: Absolute Power Over Satan.

| Spiry Tee

"And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth."
(Revelation 5:6 NASB+).

Satan is not a mythological construct. His history and future is well documented in the the book of books, the Bible. It is recorded that when he was made, like all things made by God, he was beautiful and excellent. He was the anointed cherub that protected the glory.

“You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones."

“Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you." (Ezekiel 28:14‭, ‬17 NKJV).

So we know that satan was created by God with beauty and splendor until his heart was puffed up with pride and desired to be like the Most high. Like most iniquities, pride is the root. When he wanted to be God, he was cast down to hell and he became a devil as we know him now.

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!"

"For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;"

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit."

“Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms," (Isaiah 14:12‭-‬16 NKJV).

Satan, hitherto known as Lucifer, son of the morning, is real and he has work to do on earth. He is the one that tempted Eve to sin against God and brought death and destruction.

It was satan who led this rebellion against God through deception. He wanted to pit man against God.

But thank God for His love for us. He did not allow us eternal damnation.  He sent the second Adam, whom Satan tempted many times but failed. This second Adam came to destroy the work of the devil.

"He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil." (I John 3:8 NKJV).

Jesus came to destroy Satan's work. Did He succeed? Of course He did. "Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." (Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15 NKJV)

Jesus succeeded in destroying the works of the devil. He destroyed satan who had the power of death. He is no longer a factor.  He was rendered powerless. He was paralyzed by Jesus through His death. Jesus now has absolute power over Satan and all his subjects. The kingdom of darkness bows to Jesus.

That is why Jesus told us that "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17‭-‬18 NKJV).

Believers in Christ have power to cast out devils using His name. Jesus has transferred that same authority to His disciples which we are. The devil no longer has authority to determine whether I die or live.

He doesn't have the power of death anymore. He cannot stop me, curse me effectively or cause me to stumble unless I allow him to. As Jesus has absolute power over the satanic kingdom, so do I.

SPEAK LIFE
My Lord has absolute power over Satan and his angels, and so do I.
