The Seven Horns Of The Lamb Part 5: Absolute Power Over The World.
| Spiry Tee
"And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth."
(Revelation 5:6 NASB+).
Just before His passion, the Lord said to His disciples; "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NLT). He has overcome the world.
Jesus is now King of kings and Lord of Lords. God's intending the whole world to know that the Most High, through the regency His Son, rules in the kingdoms of men. What legal authority does Jesus have that warrant His absolute power over the world?
Remember that Abraham was promised to be the heir of the world. The whole world was willed to Abraham and His seed which is Christ. "For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith." (Romans 4:13 NKJV)
So Jesus as the promised Seed of Abraham owns the world. He came into the world which was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He lived and defeated all the powers and systems of this world.
We must be glad as Christians because the victory of Christ over the world is our victory. As we walk by faith we enforce our victory over the world. "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?" (I John 5:4-5 NKJV).
We have overcome the world's economic systems that make billions of people poor and only a few stinkingly rich. It's a system designed to be hostile to righteousness. The worldly system is run by wickedness and makes good people stay away especially in the political stratosphere of the nations.
But in Christ we can and already have overcome this wicked order or arrangement. It is only the righteous that will inherit the earth for it belongs to our God and Father in all it's fullness, glory, and riches.
SPEAK LIFE.
Because I am born of God, I have overcome the world and it's systems. By my faith I take a hold of my victory in Christ.
