These Three: Shadrack, Meshack And Abednego

| Spiry Tee

"And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them."
Daniel 3:27 NKJV

Have you heard anywhere fire could not burn human bodies? If you did, the only explanation is that it was supernatural. Naturally, flesh burns in fire. In Babylon there were three men who stood up to king Nebuchadnezzar's idolatry risking their own lives.

They refused to bow down to a golden image made by the king in honor of himself. In a furious response to the stubbornness of the three Hebrew gentlemen, the king instructed his lieutenants to increase the temperature of the furnace sevenfold and cast the delinquent exiles into the fire.

They did as they were instructed but what the king saw few minutes later made his eyes pop wide open. He saw the men in the fire walking, loosed from their chains with a fourth man who Nebuchadnezzar said looked like the "son of God". He called them out and immediately reversed his decree in honor and defence of the Hebrew God.

We are often terrified about natural elements. We think we are helpless in face if fire, floods, and wind. But our God is able to protect us. This is the God we serve. He cares about your physical body as much as He cares about your spirit.

He wants to protect you from accidents or any natural disaster. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and God wants it protected, healthy and sound. The death of your physical body is painful to the Lord. "The Lord cares deeply when his loved ones die." (Psalms 116:15 NLT).

SPEAK LIFE
God wants my body to live and He will protect me from all natural disasters or it is a painful thing for God to see me die.
