These Three: The Spirit, The Water And The Blood.

"And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one."
I John 5:8 NKJV
The Father has made sure that there would be no doubt when it comes to the veracity of Jesus' Sonship. He placed witnesses in heaven and on earth of which He is part. It was important to God for the world to know His Son for "...this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (John 17:3 NKJV).
As a result, on earth three were placed as eternal witnesses to the authenticity of Jesus as the Son God. The Spirit, the water and the blood. The Spirit of truth has been sent to earth to bear witness that Jesus was and is the Son of God: “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me." (John 15:26 ESV).
All the miracles and operations of the gifts of the Spirit we are seeing today is a confirmation that Jesus is the Son of God indeed. Those who have seen and heard the word accompanied by signs and wonders have no cloak for their unbelief. Just like the early disciples went everywhere preaching Jesus and the Lord (who is the Spirit) working with them confirming the word with signs and wonders, so is He witnessing in this day and hour.
Miracles are not wrought to make the preacher or miracle worker popular but to make Jesus famous. The Father has poured all eternal resources into the mission of glorifying the name of His Son. That is why we must be confident to preach and work miracles because the Father is more than willing to prove the glory of His Son Jesus.
The 'water' refers to the testimony of John the baptist. John came preaching to Israel of the coming Messiah. Here is his record: "Then John testified, “I saw the Holy Spirit descending like a dove from heaven and resting upon him. I didn’t know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I saw this happen to Jesus, so I testify that he is the Chosen One of God.” (John 1:32-34 NLT).
John continues: “He has come from above and is greater than anyone else. We are of the earth, and we speak of earthly things, but he has come from heaven and is greater than anyone else. He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but how few believe what he tells them! Anyone who accepts his testimony can affirm that God is true."
"For he is sent by God. He speaks God’s words, for God gives him the Spirit without limit. The Father loves his Son and has put everything into his hands. And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” (John 3:31-36 NLT).
The 'blood' that was shed on earth by Jesus on the cross at Calvary also speaks. "You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24 NLT).
When the blood of Jesus was shed on the cross, the veil in the temple was supernaturally torn in two from top to bottom as a testimony that the way into the presence of God was now open. And only God's Son could do that. The earth quaked when the blood hit the ground becuase the foundation of the world, Jesus Christ, was crucified. And the sun could not shine as a testimony that the light of the world was hanging on that cross.
The blood spoke and still speaking today. It is still setting people free from sin and death. And by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony the Michael and his team prevailed over the devil and his cohorts. The evidence of Jesus' Sonship is so solid that anyone would be foolish to discredit it.
SPEAK LIFE.
I believe and know that Jesus is the Son of God from heaven. As the knowledge of God's Son permeates my consciousness, the life of God dominates my being.
