Tree Of Righteousness Part 3.
| Spiry Tee
"The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."
Psalms 92:12-15 NKJV
Who is a righteous person according to the new covenant? Apostle Paul says, "Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us." (Romans 5:1 TPT).
The Tree of Life version says, "Therefore, having been made righteous by trusting, we have shalom with God through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah." (Romans 5:1 TLV)
It is clear that our righteousness in the new Testament is imputed on us based on faith in the Lord Jesus and not by the works of the law. Everyone who believes in Jesus and is born again is righteous.
It is this righteous person the Spirit declares that they shall flourish like a palm tree. They shall bloom, spread and experience luxuriant growth. Failure is impossible with God. You are likened to a palm tree which can bent over but does not break. You will not break when the storms comes.
You are likened to the stately cedar whose life is not only counted in decades but centuries. The wicked are as grass (Psalm 92:7) but you are like a cedar, you will live forever. With long life the Lors satisfies the righteous.
You will continue to bear fruit in old age meaning that your vitality will never wane. Yiu will be fresh and blooming as the years go by. You are not subject to time, just like your Father in heaven.
SPEAK LIFE.
I am flourishing, spreading, and growing luxuriant because of Christ in me. I am resilient in times of trouble and testing. I remain forever and established like a cedar in Lebanon. My vitality will never wane, am forever young and fruitful.
