We Are The Sheep Of His Pasture.

"But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand."
John 10:26‭-‬28 NKJV

The Psalmist records: "Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture." (Psalms 100:3 NKJV). We must see ourselves the way the Lord sees us. It will be easy to see God's people in light of the God's Word.

When Jesus saw a multitude of people His view of them was striking: "But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd." (Matthew 9:36 NKJV). It is easy to become cynical in the church when leading people as a pastor or elder that you can start seeing God's people in the flesh. When you look at them in the flesh you can begin to think that they are goats. Goats are stubborn, rebellious, and sometimes hard to lead. But sheep is submissive, obedient, easy to lead and guide. See God's people the way God sees them, as sheep who need a shepherd and not as customers for your financial gain.

As His sheep, Jesus will guide you to where the pasture is. You have no need to worry about provision ever again in your life. "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." (John 10:9 NKJV).

Just like David you must affirm that the Lord is your Shepherd and stop worrying and complaining about your life. Stop carrying unnecessary burdens and let the Shepherd carry you on His divine shoulders to His rest. Declare with your mouth that "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake...I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever." (Psalms 23:1‭-‬6 NKJV).

He will not allow you to die or perish, "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." (John 10:28 NKJV). You are safe from violent and sudden death. He watches over your every step. As you rest in Him, you will see Him fight all your battles.

SPEAK OUT.
I see Jesus as my Shepherd and I will not worry about provision. My life is secure in Him.
