Why Was Jesus Anointed? #2 Heal The Brokenhearted.

| Spiry Tee.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted...."
(Isaiah 61:1 NKJV)

The brokenhearted are those whose feelings, thoughts and emotions have been shattered completely for many reasons, chief among them being betrayal and unrecoverable loss.

Many today are brokenhearted and are holding on to life by a thread. Some have taken their own lives as a result. There is no natural medicine for a broken heart.

But here is the good news to those who are brokenhearted: there is healing in Jesus. He was anointed and sent to heal those who are brokenhearted.

The sad thing about being heartsick is that people see you eating in the restaurant, driving your car to work, playing with the kids but don't know the wounds you are dealing with in your heart.

Do you see now why it's important to treat and talk to everyone who comes your way with kindness? You never know fully what they are dealing with. You might be that light  or glimmer of hope they need to go through the day.

If you are suffering from heartbreak because your spouse cheated on you, or your best friend lied to you, or you were extremely disappointed by someone you trusted whether pastor or parent, go to Jesus and receive healing for your broken heart.

Jesus is so gentle and lowly in heart so much so that, "A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, till He sends forth justice to victory; and in His name Gentiles will trust.” (Matthew 12:20‭-‬21 NKJV).

Some were heartbroken in church. I do understand that because church is not for perfect people. All kinds of sinners are in church. Go to Jesus the Lord of the house and receive healing.

And do not run away from the church, no matter how messed up church people are, there is no better family to belong to than God's blood-washed, sanctified and Holy Ghost-full children.

SPEAK LIFE.
I receive healing for my broken heart today. I refuse to live in my past, I choose the present and the future which from now on I see as very bright because of Christ in it.
