You Have A New Name.

"Jerusalem, the nations will see your goodness, and all kings will see your glory. Then you will have a new name, which the Lord himself will give you."
Isaiah 62:2 NCV.
The Lord has had wonderful plans for His people since time immemorial. In prophetic writings, "Jerusalem" many times has double meaning, the physical Jerusalem and the spiritual Jerusalem which is the mother of us all. In this case, Isaiah is also speaking about the Zion that is the church.
The Lord promised that the world will see your righteousness that is imputed to you by faith apart from works. A new kind of righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus. It is unique, it is special.
Moreover, the glory of the Lord will shine upon you that honorable men of the earth will take notice. The church will not be hidden anymore. The church is rising with power and love and our cities and villages are being illuminated by God's glory upon us.
Now we have a new name. A name which the Lord Himself has mouthed. "Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (II Timothy 2:19 NKJV).
You are called by the name of Jesus. This is the name which the Lord spoke to Mary and Joseph. It was not only for that one Man of Galilee, it was for all that believe on Him. On our behalf, Jesus died and was honored by God with a name that is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow.
We have a new name called Christ, that is above all sicknesses and diseases. A name that has authority over demons. It is a strong tower and the righteous run to it and are safe. The name Jesus has power over death and the grave.
In His name, resurrection answers. That is the name by which you are called. It is the name that was inked on the "title deeds" of the universe. You have nothing to fear for today and tomorrow is yours. All things are yours, whether life or death, things present and things to come, all are yours.

I am called by a new name called Christ, I have dominion over life and death.
