You Were Sanctified.

"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
I Corinthians 6:11 NKJV
To sanctify means to make holy, that is, to purify or consecrate. It also means to set apart for hallowed purposes. If you are sanctified, you have been placed in a position worthy of veneration. It is one of the spiritual blessings of the new covenant in Christ.
In the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Holy Spirit you have been sanctified. Here is something beautiful about your sanctification: "Both Jesus who sanctifies and those who are sanctified [that is, spiritually transformed, made holy, and set apart for God’s purpose] are all from one Father; for this reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters," (Hebrews 2:11 AMP).
We are cut from the same branch with Jesus. We both have God as our Father. We are family with Jesus. That proves that as Jesus is so are we in this world. The Father loves us the same way He loves Jesus. He accepts us and treats us the same way He does Jesus. The Lord Jesus is not ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters. Wow!
Maybe your family or your spouse is ashamed of you because of your present condition, cheer up, for Jesus is not ashamed to call you family. He is not ashamed to be associated with you in your brokenness. And for your shame He will give you double. His glory shall be your permanent companion.
The same life that flows in the sanctifier flows in the sanctified. The nature of the sanctifier is the nature of the sanctified. The Spirit of the sanctifier is the Spirit of the sanctified. Your health is the health that Jesus has. Jesus is alive never to die again. You were raised with Christ to inherit eternal life. Hallelujah!
SPEAK OUT.
I am sanctified, and the life and nature of the sanctifier is in me. Because we come from the same source, Jesus is not ashamed to call me family.
