When I think about how the world view God, the inscription at the altar of Mars' Hill comes to mind. For many in the world including religious people, He is the "unknown God" . (Acts 17:22-31).

Night seasons are times of peril and danger. They are moments of perplexity and sorrow. During such times of darkness the Lord is able to give you reasons to rejoice. In a world eclipsed with a worldwide health pandemic threatening worldwide economic depression, you can still find joy in the LORD.

The Bible declares that naturally God does not oppress. To oppress means to afflict, deal hardly, cause to suffer, or subjugate by unjust use of one's authority and power. And the God we know as revealed in Christ does none of the above.
