"A Christian is not just someone who mended his ways or turned a new leaf. A believer is someone who has been born again. The new birth is the greatest miracle God has ever performed. A grown human being gets infused with new life and becomes a divine being. We are born again by God's Word. Jesus called the Word, Seed. And this Seed is God's sperm that gives life to the new creation. As human sperm carry the quality and character of the child that will be conceived, God's Word through the gospel gives the born again believer a new quality and character. We have the same quality of the Word-Seed, incorruption."

Through one man's disobedience death entered in the world, but the good news is that through Christ's obedience, life has come back to earth. The Letter That Kills.

"There is a ministry of death in the Bible. It is hiding in plain sight: "...the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones...(II Corinthians 3:7). Only the ten commandments were written and engraved on stones by the finger of God. Isn't it amazing that Paul calls God's holy, good and righteous law "the ministry of death". How dare he say that about the revered law of Moses which is celebrated worldwide. According to Paul, there's nothing wrong with the law in itself but the law has no capacity to produce the intended righteousness. Instead, when the law is preached, sin is activated. "For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. (Romans 7:5). Just as sexual desire is aroused through touch and sight, sin is aroused through hearing the law."

The Moral Qualities Of Eternal Life.

"The New Covenant has a morality that supercedes that of the Old in glory. The Old demands morality but the New supplies morality. They were commanded in the Old Testament to not sin, but in the new the language is refreshingly new, "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." (I John 3:9). He frames his language in a way that shows a fundamental shift in communication. Anyone who has been born of God does not sin. The eternal life in them does not permit them. The divine nature in them restrains them. It is not in the order of the gods to sin. There are things kings don't do. It's amazing how God addresses us in comradely language."

"Eternal life! How sweet the sound. It's the gift that comes wrapped in the greater gift called Jesus Christ. According to Vine's Expository Dictionary of Greek words, "life" is from the Greek word zoe which is used in the New Testament "of life as a principle, life in the absolute sense, life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, (John 5:26), and which the Son manifested in the world, (1 John 1:2) . From this life man has become alienated in consequence of the Fall, (Ephesians 4:18) , and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, (John 3:15)"

"The religion in Christianity has relegated the Holy Spirit to the background and fooled some people that they can live an authentic Christian life without the Holy Spirit. Well, Jesus disagrees.  Before His departure, the Lord instructed the disciples never to move an inch into the gospel mission until they were "indued with power from on High" (Luke 24:49). Jesus had waited with so much zeal for the day the Holy Spirit will be poured out. For Him, it was a fire to be kindled and was exhilarated to have the promise fulfilled after He finished the works of redemption."

"Reigning in life! Sounds good. Do you want to reign in life? Only those who receive the superfluous grace of God lavished on us in Christ, together with God's gift of righteousness. Wait, so righteousness is a gift? I grew up knowing that your righteousness was equal to the righteous works you do for God. I used to think "more good works, more righteousness". I am not playing down the fact that good works are profitable to man but God's righteousness cannot be attained through good works."

Plagued by sin and death, the planet desperately needed help and God saw it fit to sent us His only Son despite the disappointment He had after man's rebellion. By eternal measurements Jesus was actually an overpayment for our sins because of the value of that One Man, but God loved us too much to give us the "much more" in Christ Jesus."
